How To Remove PLDTHOMEDSL WIFI NAME SSID on 300Mbps WLAN ADSL2 MODEM

I will teach you how to remove the PLDTHOMEDSL WiFi SSID (Name) on your 300Mbps WLAN ADSL modem.

1. First  open a browser and type the IP address 192.168.1.1

and then logoin as
user: adminpldt
password: 1234567890

2. Find Setup Tab and click on MBSSID menu

Wireless Multiple BSSID Setup

This page allows you to set virutal access points(VAP). Here you can enable/disable virtual AP, and set its SSID and authentication type. click "Apply Changes" to take it effect.

3. Check the box Enable VAP0  (Virtual Access Point Zero), input your customize WIFI name SSID

4. At the bottom "Click Apply Changes" and click on the left side SAVE  for permanent setup.

5. Now lets disabled the  broadcast of default WIFI SSID , this the one with PLDTHMEDSL

Just click on the " Advanced" and then click the "Disabled" and apply then click SAVE.

6. Now lest put a WiFi password on your custom WIFI SSID.

• Go to Setup Tab and then WLAN
• Click on Security Menu
• Click the circle VAP0 ( this is the one we use earlier)
• Select encryption you prepared.
• Type your  Pre shared KEy or WIFI Password.
• Click Apply Changes then SAVE!!

Finally Done!!
